By accessing or using Payogo ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Payogo. Your continued use of the Service confirms your acceptance of these terms and any updates we make to them.

2. Description of Service

Payogo provides personal financial tracking and budgeting tools through web and mobile applications. Our services include:

• Budget creation and tracking - Create monthly budgets and track spending against goals
• Expense categorization and analysis - Organize transactions and analyze spending patterns
• Multi-currency financial tracking - Support for multiple currencies with real-time exchange rates
• AI-powered financial insights - Smart recommendations based on your spending habits
• Receipt scanning - Automated receipt capture and expense categorization

3. Exchange Rate Information

Exchange Rate Data Sources

We obtain exchange rate data from third-party APIs (including ExchangeRate-API.com) that provide mid-market rates. We then apply estimated typical provider margins (2-5% below mid-market rate) to generate comparison estimates. These margins are conservative estimates and may not reflect any specific provider's actual margin at any given time.

3. User Accounts

To use Payogo, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your password and account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login information and for all activities that occur under your account. We recommend using strong, unique passwords and enabling two-factor authentication.

5. Free and Premium Services

All payments are processed securely through third-party payment processors. We do not store your credit card information.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms
• Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
• Not use the Service to store, share, or transmit illegal or prohibited content
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account information and financial data
• Provide accurate financial information for tracking purposes
• Not interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Not use automated tools to access the Service without permission
• Comply with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws

7. Data and Privacy

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Remove or modify any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
• Use our trademarks or branding without explicit written permission

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

9. Limitation of Liability

Payogo is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any financial decisions made based on our Service or recommendations
• We are not responsible for accuracy of exchange rate data from third-party sources
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure service
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for our services in the past 12 months, or $100, whichever is greater
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages

10. Termination

By Payogo: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at our discretion, with or without notice.

By You: You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page. Account deletion will:

• Permanently remove all your financial data within 30 days
• Cancel any active premium subscriptions
• Revoke access to the Service
• Delete backup copies within 90 days

Upon termination, all rights and licenses granted to you will immediately cease.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons. We will notify users of material changes by:

• Posting the new terms on this page
• Updating the "Last updated" date
• Sending email notification for significant changes
• Displaying an in-app notification

Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you must stop using the Service.

If you are located outside the United States, you acknowledge that you are transferring your information to the United States and agree to these terms.
